Description
Experience an unforgettable adventure on this interactive tour where participants get involved in the process (children can participate). This tour belongs to Hacienda Café Soto, a family microenterprise with over 75 years of history in coffee production and sales. On this guided tour, you will be able to plant your own seed, learn the secrets of harvesting, participate in depulping, drying, hulling, roasting, and grinding the coffee, and even taste your own cup of coffee using a traditional method in Costa Rica known as "café chorreado." Additionally, you will receive interesting facts and can buy a high-quality Costa Rican coffee, certified by the Blue Flag Ecological Program, Essential Costa Rica, and ICT. We are in Fraijanes de Alajuela at El Restaurante Típico Fraijanes, and the tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
We'll explain the entire coffee process, from planting the seed through processing to a delicious cup of coffee.
